lol hehe

Press F12 :D

Most comprehensive popup stopper in any browser is built in, one of the best reasons for using opera :)

yeah cdcovers.cc is one of those buggers. However, it works in mozilla, have you tried that?

It's the browser I use now :)

Btw Spud, i tried to make a dead-donkey search plugin for Mozilla/firebird, but couldn't find the right parameters to pass to your php script..

There's a search plugin for SR, so it should be possible to do, or?

mozilla also, unless I route to a windows machine first.

But I don't have another machine besides my WS.

For the frontpage or forums? Tell me what you need from the search page and I'll post it here. Would be very, very, very interested in the script :)

Aiming to make plugins for both frontpage/forum searchs..

What's confusing me is where to put the searchword..
For example, this is the resulting url when searching for something on the frontpage:

.../modules.php?name=Search&type=reviews

I was hoping that it was possible to pass something like &search=blahblah in the url

I have extracted the variables and constructed the string passed:

Code:
modules.php?name=Search&query=VARIABLE&topic=&category=0&author=&days=0&type=reviews

example:
http://www.dead-donkey.com/modules.php? ... pe=reviews

Ah, thanks!

Now it shouldn't be any problems making the scripts to work!

eh, this popup killer included in opera ain't what I'm looking for as it will stop all pop-ups. Even the ones I need to pop up.

I'm looking for an app which will let me choose pages to block. like http://www.analogx.com/contents/downloa ... rk/pow.htm
only for opera of course.

Try to find the Last version of AdShield before they went commercial.

He claimed it worked with Opera.
/haven't messed with the new version, as it's activation key can't be found anywhere.

PRESS F12!!!!

Open open-ups in background
Block all pop-ups
Open only requested popups

Been like that for a long, long time unless you don't have a version made in at least the twentith century or are missing an f12 key

Blocks everything except what you specifically click/request :) That means stuff you need to popup does, and all the adverts and autojavascript crap dies horribly as it should :matrix:

Alternatively, I believe there is someway to put a 'not block list' somewhere in the menus or ini files (it might be a plugin). Kinda pointless though, you can just press F12 for pete's sake  I use mozilla anyways. In mozilla you can just specify domains you want popups in and it blocks everything else.

jeez, everybody but me uses opera?

have you tried 'surf in peace' from http://www.iconlabs.net.

nice freeware prog i been using for maybe 4 years. i quit using it for a few months when i used popup killer(i think thats the name) but that always blocked too much stuff. surf in peace is just pop-up windows, you can set it for specific popup window sizes and/or specific window names.
