Anyone know a good app for converting idx+sub title files to other formats?
XBMC l8est build has broken the subtitle support.

Subresync (bundled with Gordian Knot) also does the same job.

I downloaded an .avi and its .rar for the subtitles. The .rar is one pair .idx and .sub files. The ripper goofed or something and the subs are the wrong colors. They are blue subtitles with grey outlines on blue background. SubRip can't recognize any single characters with the colors mapped as they are. SubRip has an option to change colors but I couldn't get it to work. I loaded the .idx into VobSub but this is a filter and I would like to change the colors permanently with Save As. I think white or yellow with grey outlines on transparent background would be good. What application can I use to permanently change the color mapping of an .idx and .sub pair? If VobSub, SubRip or SubRemap will do this, I don't know how to use them for this purpose.
