WTF is this? EVERY time I try to search for something using the search box, this pops up. "Your client is too old and-or has bad network behavior. Please upgrade !"

ed2k: Your.client.is.too.old.and-or.has.bad.network.behavior..Please.upgrade.!  [942.22 Mb] [Stats]

I've been using the same version of eMule plus since it was released, with no problems.

But, a few hours ago, I unhooked my computer and changed the location of it in the house to a more convenient place. I use a wireless network, and I connect to that network - but I've been using that for a month, and have had no problems. I also have a WLAN monitor in the system tray I can't get rid of without turning off the internet, which has also never happened - then again, I had to reinstall the wireless software when I plugged the wireless adapter back into the USB port. I'm really confused here.

Advice? :o

Lots of people with same issue. Do a search at the emule forums. Sometimes the fix was as simple as reconnecting to a different server.

The WLAN monitor came from your reinstall of the wireless software? Perhaps just a driver install is all you need. Sounds similar to my Linksys card on the laptop. Only need the drivers. I let XP handle all the wireless settings: WEP, mode, channel, etc.

Really? A search at the official eMule plus site brought nothing, same with the official eMule forums.

I use Linksys, and I just reinstalled the drivers and it popped up. Didn't happen before, really bizarre. XP used to handle it, and I liked it a hell of a lot better that way...

Try this:

-uninstall the driver and any linksys software
-shutdown
-pop in your wireless adapter
-restart
-when windows asks for a driver point it to it, preferably the newest one downloaded from linksys

Search worked fine for me @ offical emule forum... I just typed in "your client is too old" (were you logged in?)

Saw your post @ emule plus forum "Keelai" :D
