Dunno what could be causing it (unless u set some default setting which loads up at start up). However, I ditched BSplayer myself.

I would suggest installing two players to replace your usage of these two. Install Zoomplayer to replace bsplayer (its far better, and has all the same benefits, plus is a hell of a lot more advanced). if you want a really cool one with all DVD playback filters pm me.

I would also download media player classic (google) for a WM replacement. Its extremely well made and lightweight.

I gotta say, and yeah I will prolly get flamed, but I am loving WMP10 ATM. I still have BSPlayer for films with subs, but for me WMP10 is stable as fuck, and it uses less resources than BS or Zoom.

I have watched around 20 movies on it so far and not one problem, only thing it is shit at, for me anyways, is mpg playback, but WTF I have PowerDVD for that.

zoomplayer is a better player for DVDs than powerdvd, uses the same filters as powerdvd if that's your preference, but you can also mix and match filters, so if you prefer the audio features of windvd, and the video of powerdvd, you can use those two components.

MPC is a heck of a lot more stable than anything out there, and uses far less resources than WMP10... and that's a major understatement.
