When a PC NEVER uses IE Explorer 6.0 SP1, do you still need the patches installed?

Dunno, but I tend to install the patches anyways. Dunno if it is the same as you, but even when I use another browser as default, windows update wil still use IE.

I tend to only skip patches if teh software they are for is not on my system, dunno why it shows patches I do not need, stoopid M$.

Perhaps because software, which is not on your system might use libs, which are and the patches are for these libs? Who knows?

you dont need it but its best to have it uptodate anyway, the M$ update site only work with IE and some other sites.... so update it and forget about it... by the way i use firefox as main browser...
