ok, I really want to see the movie re-animator and i tried to get it from the link and emule, but the download would start, going very slowly I might add like a few B/S and then it would stop and it said waiting under status. One of the people in the IRC chat told me that if i clicked on more links to download that it would go faster, this didn't help and I'm not sure if thats true. I dont see how having more files downloading makes it go faster. Could some1 plz help me?

I can help (hopefully), but you need to be WAY more specific than you have been

What version of emule are you using
What are the following settings set to in preferences > connection
Upload Speed
Download Speed
Upload limit
Download limit
Max connections
Sources per file

Let me know these and We'll see if we can help :)

This WILL increase your total download speed, but not the speed of one specific file

Please, name your topics properly. We already know you're looking for help because you're posting in the help section, no point in naming your thread "Please help me etc." Always make sure your thread title contains at least some vague info on the problem you're experiencing. If you're new, it might be helpful to read those little stickies in each section, they contain rules and guidelines that will help you to use this board in the most effective way.

Here are some tips:

If you are new to emule, the official site is the place to go: http://www.emule-project.net . All questions you have should be easily answerd in the faq's and the help file. Tougher questions should be asked in the emule forums after searching first.

I would recommend the regular emule version found on the home page for now.

Best thing about emule is the availability of files. It can be very slow, but that is usually based on the number of files you are downloading and the number of sources for each file.

A file with low sources could take weeks or months to finish. A file with incomplete sources (parts in red) may never finish, but it never hurts to ask on an appropriate forum for a reshare.

Welcome to emule.
