648mb avi = 1hr36min of color bars (?)

i searched this board for the topic but i couldnt find it, so i apologize in advance if there is already a reference to this.

anyway, ive got a 1hr36min 648mb avi (or something like that) and all i get when i try to play it is color bars... also, the color bars look glitchy, they expand outside of the normal viewing area

sound familiar? any suggestions?

Download Gspot, and open the file in there. You are probably missing some codec, and that program will tell you which one.

or realase VLC mediaplayer on it,no codecs needed :mrgreen:
