UT2004 Online Play Patch Help!

well u probably put it in the ut2004 directory and then run the patch from there.

Out of curiosity I checked it out. There is an .nfo in that .zip that gives installation instructions. Overwriting a couple files in the UT2004 was about it. I think it also mentions that you are limited to playing with people that have the same patch.

nfo files = text files = notepad, incase that's what it is.

I did everything but when I go to "join Game" I get thid Message

The UT2004 Master Server Could not be reached .. or sumthing v.v guess i ll never play online

did u install any retail patch at all?.... these online patches usaly blow anyway. maybe just buy the game dude cuz its definately worth it... freakin awsome game

To be honest I don't remember,There is probably another patch out that is better by now.I really didn't like this one...was better than the 2003 version but to me the best ones are still the original UT and Unreal.The new unreal engine is going to blow everything off the map as far as gfx go....Let's just hope the gameplay is as good as the gfx. :wink:

i like this 1 better than ut original for 2 reasons - vehicles and gameplay modes. ONSLAUGHT AND VEHICLE CTF OWN
