I should have upped these tracks also. They are my 'possiby defunct' Thrash/Death band's early demo tracks. Our drummer quit to play in a cheesy HC band, taking the bassist with him. Bastard! Anyway, these are better songs than CGB; sort of At the Gates meets Pantera. I really want to get this band going again because we have 5 great songs unrecorded. There is a proper demo kicking around, just don't have my hands on it at the moment. CGB was kind of a joke where as Stalemate is serious. Lemme know what ya'll think.

Defiler Elite is my personal fave. Straight-up DM!
Thanks to those who show interest! :beerchug:
EDIT: I should have mentioned I'm the vocalist of both bands.

thanx again

*C.G.B. sounds like an extreme/noise/grind version of Nailbomb :wacky:

*Stalemate sounds more thrashy mixed with death metal (good voice)

...nice one GrindCallus!

Here's the new GOREROTTED!!!

Just discovered Kaamos and Necrovation, haven't heard much of it yet but i like the style. Anybody has some recommendations for me in the vain of Verminous, Kaamos and Necrovation? It's old school swedish (scandinavian) styled death metal if i have to describe it.

Hello Dead-donkey metal heads.
Here is link to Finnish Death metal legend Demilichs site: http://www.anentity.com/demilich/ There is their old and first album Nespithe to download free and some demos. There is also covers and other stuff to download. Their old label rip off with contract so now you can download whole Nespithe album from that site.
So if you guys like little bit progressive death metal with extreme vocals check this site out.

You want old school scandinavian dm? ...Carnage, Dismember, Nihilist/Entombed , Obscurity, Obscene, Treblinka, Carbonized, Cadaver, Grave, Unleashed, Dissection, Expulsion, Grotesque, At The Gates, Merciless, Dark Tranquillity, Maceration, Nirvana 2002, Desultory, Old Funeral, ...

*Most of these bands don't exist anymore but these are (imo) the founders of the typical scandinavian dm sound...

*as for more recent bands...The Haunted fuckin' rules!!!

I'll check out the bands you mentioned :beerchug:

Well, i really dislike bands like Dark Tranquility, At the Gates, The haunted etc. Dissection and Old Funeral isn't really what i'm looking for either (not bad bands tho).
I'll check some of those bands out soon, thanks mate. :beerchug:

And about Finland, there're some pretty good bands out there. Clandestine Blaze, Satanic Warmaster, Warloghe, Wyrd, Black Crucifixion (although i only have 1MCD) and of course Beherit belong to my favourites. Azaghal and Horna are alright bands but i traded the CD's i had away since they started to bore me.
@SadX, i'll check it out, thanks.

[edit]Oh and vermin (and all others interested): http://www.necrovation.tk/
http://www.kaamos.nu
There are a couple of mp3's on these sites.

Anyone needs something from this, it's for trade:

Amon - Return of the black metal CD 632/666
Amon - Zrozeni Smrti CD 367/666
Dream theater - Awake CD
Forest - Like a blaze above the ashes CD
Mystic forest - Waltz in the midst of trees CD
Nargaroth - Geliebte des regens Digipack
Opeth - Still life Digipack
Astrofaes - The eyes of the beast tape
Lunar reign - s/t demo tape 277/300
Just send me a PM with your trade list. :)

About Demilich, the music is quite good but the vocals really won't do it for me. There's just no power in them, just fading in/fading out grunts... probably too much echo. Too bad, it really ruins everything for me.

They're original CD's... Doesn't that make a difference? If it's not allowed i'll delete it, but i don't see why it wouldn't be allowed.

Hi Vermin. Beherit is my favorite blackmetal band and I like IN too. Actually I live in same city where they lived when beherit was active and it is influenced many other bands from this same city too example Urn, flame, Deathchain, Barathrum etc..

My favorite metal is old school and/or old school style metal. 80's metal forever...

Here is some other cool Finnish BM stuff to you D. if you like those finnish bands:

URN: http://www.mikseri.net/urn

Devilry: http://www.devilry.us/

I only post legal mp3 links, 'cause I don't support metal music piratism. I buy all my metal music, 'cause my music taste is so underground that I want to support all bands I listen.

I know personally some of those Satanic Warmaster guys (Finland is quite small country).

I just love most that deep "sewer" singing style and I think it is trademark of Demilich.
