haha learn your roots . . . funny.

Considering all the slayer albums I like are:

1983 Show no Mercy
1986 Reign in Blood
1990 Season in the Abyss (yes thats right south of heaven is not a fav)
1996 Undisputed attitude

Thats all for now, checking out the new album later.

Hatebreed is hardcore plain and simple.

I disagree...hardcore in my book are bands like Agnostic Front, old Cro-Mags,
D.R.I., Sick Of It All, Sheer Terror, Slapshot, Ignite...more influenced by (fast) punk than heavymetal.
Hatebreed sounds much more metal with a hardcore edge...hence the name metalcore (or hardcoremetal whatever...). But hey that's just my opinion.

well I always fall back onto those albums, very rarely get tired listening to good slayer, just dissapointing to hear bad slayer. They should just focus mainly on thrash and speed metal instead of encorporating rythms popularized by metalcore and nu-metal acts. Slayer panders way too much too bullshit nowadays. :matrix:

The first Slayer album is their best BY FAR in my opinion. The four albums after that are great to good as well but Divine Intervention, God Hates us All and Diabolicus in Musica i don't like at all.
I will download their latest but i do not have high expectations of it at all. Not liking new Slayer has nothing to do with not knowing your roots and i must agree with Andyschism; Slayer tries way too hard to appeal nu-metal skater kids.

I'm playing a lot of Bifrost lately. Epic thrash with a pagan theme and feeling, quite like the British Sabbat. Very underrated Dutch band i think.
Songs from the first two albums:

hey D. where are you from? south of the netherlands? though i live in the middle for the last ten years im from the south too ( before i went to study and stayed here, lol)

i saw Bifrost about 10 years ago live and they totally kicked ass then, very brutal but i kinda lost them out of sight... with one of my old bands i think i used the same rehearsal "studio" ( would be too much credits to call it that, hehehe)

Mmmm... Bifrost

Similiar good bend is Evil Dead.

have you heard Bewitched?

Good old school thrash\black bend?

I must agree with you guys for Slayer. They try to make Thrash\NU sound, which isn't good to old fans.

Beign fan of Slayer from the first works, I didn't like "God Hate Us All" and that HC\Punk covers.

Reign in Blood is still Cult Classic for me.
Season is also great album, like it almost like RIB, but RiB like bit more.

I liked the hardcore covers because it is so funny and amazing to hear them cover Minor Threat songs, huge Minor Threat fan from back in the day. :matrix:

well no one in their right mind uses edonkey anyway, emule or die :)

30 seconds would mean you have
2.53mb/s or 20.24 MB / s down. Bastard.
