22 episodes = 2dvdr = 400mb an episode (50mb over scene rules)
22 episodes = 3dvdr = ~640mb an episode (290mb over scene rules)

3dvdr probably allows for commentaries (8) and maybe extras (depends on my calculator having batteries :lol:)
Same deal would apply for Babylon 5 or Angel. I have all of them on DVD too and their seasons are usually around 22 episode.

Of course that all relies on either sponsorship by someone who is willing to release them, or someone who has the ability to post to news and a group of people that can share the responsibility of keeping them in their shares.

Well, I can offer to help you share as usual, but given the magnitude of the release I can't make that commitment for the entire 4 seasons. Since we're talking about months I'd have to take breaks from Farscape to release my own stuff from time to time.

Hey Spud, have you maybe considered releasing episode by episode? So when one spreads you post the other?

That way you constantly bump the series thread and gain new downloaders.

I'm releasing Walker that way and it has nice results. Since this would be more popular I think a lot of sources would develop soon.

Just a thought :wink:

K i tallied that one on.

Will point out its a bad pan/scan master (with the slight blurring at the top in some scenes), dunno if there's a better dvd out there but i doubt it.

Since i can't possibly release Farscape on my tod without a firm commitment from someone who can upload to news or can share (and is swedish / chinese / both :lol: ), it ul be Company of Wolves next :)

Interesting, I thought there might be adversion to 747mb, but it seems to be the one wanted.

I'll do my tests based around that filesize then :)

Episode length is about 45-50mins, so i guess its like doing a 2cd for a 90min movie :)
