The Uncut Mystery Science Theater 3000 Project | | Mystery Science Theater 3000 was a show that ran on television for 11 years, spanned 11 seasons (10 on cable), and 197 episodes. What was it about? Really cheesy movies. A man and his two robot companions would sit and make snide remarks and insert their own dialogue while a bad movie was being shown. While this delighted most fans of B-movies, it angered some. Many people felt that these movies did not deserve to be mocked, and that the original movie in its uncut deserved to be released.
The point of this project is to get every single movie that was ever shown available in its uncut form, no matter how rare it is, in the best quality possible.
Considering that this is a massive undertaking, any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated. Post any unverified links you have, or make your own rips. Your work will not go unnoticed.
Many movies that were shown were public domain films, and as such, no distributor has incentive to restore these films to good quality. After all, the average consumer sees two DVDs right next to each other -- the same movie, but one of the DVDs being 1/3 of the price but awful quality, the average consumer chooses the cheaper DVD. The quality of a lot of the public domain films will not be good.
You can download every single episode that is not commercially available on eDonkey at http://www.dapcentral.org/ , along with many custom made DVDs of the episodes. You must use eDonkey, and the rules are strict, but it takes less than 5 minutes to set up and it's worth the time. | Navigation:

And McCauley, the team's star quarterback, is being courted by a management firm, and the man the firm has assigned to get him into the firm has been told that if he doesn't get him, he will be out. But that's nothing compared to the real drama. There's a killer running around. It seems that the syndicate doesn't want the highly favored Cougars to win. They tried to get the team's trainer to drug or incapacitate some players, and when he refuses he is killed. So, the team's manager has to try and find out who the killer is, before he does some real damage. | [ Add all 18 links to your ed2k client ]

Their enemy is Shirley Eaton as Su-Muru, who plans to remove all of the men who are currently in power and replace them with her army of women, most of who are shown in skimpy (for 1967) bikinis or mini skirts, and who can all perform complex tasks such as break a man's neck with their thighs. | Soultaker (1990) | | Review: Mysterious unseen men in black collect the souls of the recently dead. When four teenagers "die" in a car wreck, one of these beings ("The Man") is sent to retrieve their souls. However, the teens are disembodied and realize their predicament. They flee. The movie revolves around them being picked off one by one, The Man's infatuation with one of the teenagers (who was apparently his lover in a past life), and the efforts of the teens to reunite their souls with their hospitalized bodies. |
| Girl in Gold Boots (1969) | | Review: A young girl, Michele, is persuaded by a disreputable agent-type to leave her job as a waitress and travel to Los Angeles to become a go-go dancer. There, she must compete with the established top star, Joan. |
| Merlin’s Shop of Mystical Wonders (1996) | | Review: A boy is watching TV when a power outage forces him to talk to his grandpa for entertainment. His grandpa, a former screenwriter, re-tells an old screenplay about Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders. In it, Merlin sets up an enchanting store in a modern-day strip mall, accompanied by his gleeful wife and gnomes, snakes, dragons, etc. From this framing device, we then see two stories about people's encounters with items from the shop. The first sequence (created for this film but looking like an episode of "Tales From The Darkside") involves a pompous, cranky newspaper critic who begins casting spells using Merlin's spell book. The second story (edited from the movie "The Devil's Gift") is about an evil monkey doll who kills every time his hands clap. Merlin of the 1990s is disjointedly tied-in with the 1980 movie. |

| Blood Waters of Dr. Z (1975) | | Review: A mad scientist (and apparent former Nazi) unleashes his master plan: to transform himself into a mutated walking catfish, gain revenge on those who have spurned him, and kidnap nubile young women to similarly transform so that he can breed. Or something like that. |
| Track of the Moon Beast (1976) | | Review: Professor "Johnny Longbow" Salina, a man who really knows his stews, introduces Paul Carlson to the practical-joking Kathy Nolan. Paul and Kathy seem to hit it off rather well but, during a meteor storm, a meteorite fragment strikes Paul, burying itself deep in his skull, which has the unpleasant side-effect of causing Paul to mutate into a giant reptilian monster at night and go on murderous rampages. It turns out that this sort of thing has happened before, when Professor Salina rediscovers ancient Native American paintings detailing a similar event many centuries ago. Kathy, however, still loves Paul, and tries to save him. |
| Final Justice (1985) | | Review: Geronimo is the Sheriff of a little Texas town. One night two brothers from Palermo kills the sheriffs coworker and pal so he chases them. The chase takes him across the border down to Mexico where he kills one of the brothers and takes the other one back to USA to stand trial. The surviving brother vows revenge on the sheriff. But the criminal is handed over to the Italian police and the sheriff is sent over to Europe with the prisoner. |

| Review: At the beginning of the film, we learn from one of the characters that earthworms can be called to the surface with electricity, but somehow it turns them into vicious flesh-eaters. Sure enough, a storm that night causes some power lines to break and touch the ground, drawing millions of man-eating worms out of the earth, and into town where they quickly start munching on the locals. |
| Danger: Diabolik (1968) | | Review: In psychedelic swinging 60s style, the dreaded thief (and killer) Diabolik wreaks havoc on a generic European country for his own financial gain and amusement. He shares an extravagant underground lair (and a giant bed of money) with his curvaceous, superficial girlfriend...who uses her awesome powers of wig-wearing to help Diabolik kill innocent people and steal billions from the government. Nonetheless, Diabolik is the "hero" of the film because he must face off against bumbling cops and revenge-seeking mafiosos. | [ Add all 5 links to your ed2k client ]

I have all of those rips except the 800 MB one. The Region 1 DVD has an English soundtrack and English subtitles, but no Italian track. I'm looking for an Italian soundtrack that matches the length of the R1 DVD to get a definitive version, but no luck. Quote: | It is quite an undertaking, I will keep my eyes peeled. Same here. Thanks, will add within the next few minutes! I appreciate the kind thoughts. Reading back on some old threads, I never realized how strong the hatred some people harbored for MST3K was. You're one of the inspirations for this collection. My hope is that this will help people at least appreciate the show a little more. Sure, it's really disrespectful, I'd be lying if I said some things just weren't cruel, but it's hilarious. I love watching the movies in their uncut form and then on MST3K. Thanks for offering The Master! I know there's an official R1 DVD, but I'm not sure how great the transfer is, it probably is of the same quality of the import you have. evongoat wrote: | have some sick pr0n to rip + up somewhere else first but I could hook the collection up with http://imdb.com/title/tt0061191/ , in fact ; I'll get that one fixed by tomorrownight ! will be my first release for emule though so don't shoot me when things tend to go wrong/slow at first... to all involved and all reading.... |
That'll be very much appreciated!!
There's a backlog of 5-6 rips to put up, but right now, I want to make sure that everything already available on the network is spread and everybody is aware what's available. Thanks to everyone offering help and your appreciation.
