This will be the next thing to try. Always bare in mind the windows resolution plan folks: 1. In case of a minor problem, reboot 2. In case of a major problem, reinstall

I do not know without gaining access to your computer. Did you try and create a topic with an invalid topic title? You must follow the standards of that section. Beyond that, all i can say is huh?  Everything works correctly:     Just posted so there is nothing wrong at all

Sure I tried it with and without the virus scanner being active and it worked just fine. Dunno what causes the problem. I never had it with the earlier phpBB setup of the site, but I don't want to blame the new version either. I just can't understand what causes this.

that nfo hasn't posted it properally, it needs viewing in an nfo viewer and then pasting between nfo tags. Then it would look like it should. What has been posted there is an nfo in plain text.
The nfos should really stay 'evaluated' as if you don't things like links, proper smilies, ed2k etc. will not be clickable.
