given the volume of hdtv, and the volume of dvdrs its probably the more suitable way of doing it I think...

I think there's another site that does it like that thinking about it, you can describe it logically if you try but the short is, not enough of them for a section of their own and i don't like DVD-rs in higher quality or lower quality. Since you say its the source of higher quality rips, there's your reason for it in the highest quality section.

Any objects to trying it out? I've not been moving vcds out of the lower quality any more and not had any objects... it fair game to move vcds to lower and DVDrs to highest, and discourage SVCD on the grounds its a dead format?

Then one day it was gone...

90-95% of the content was surpassed or sourceless, as was expected. These threads were all dumped into Fake/Invalid/Dead.

There was some content that was very rare, this either went to screeners and unverified (please check your pms from Forum Bot and update the thread if necessary), or I put it in fake/invalid/dead pm'ing the owner for clarification.
Only a couple of dvd-rs were still alive, these were put into highest quality. The syntax is Title (year) (PAL/NTSC) (DVDR). There is a place for posting DVD-rs but of course, superior technology is usually preferred, any mpeg4 codec out performs MPEG2.

There were several VCDs, these are now in lower quality :)

Some of you may have several notification emails from the forum, i would suggest to read the thread that was moved and if it is rare and sourced, to request a move using the keywords as outlined here:
