Hi Guys,
Recently i did a system format and got everything going fine and dandy once again. My problem is my stinking sound. When i try to watch a DVD on the computer the sound is very screwed up. The music and sound effects are WAY up while the dialogue is very low. If i turn it up to where i can hear them talking the music or a gun shot wants to break my ear drums.
This is happening with every single DVD that i own, both legal and downloaded. Is there some slider someplace or something that i can do to rememdy this?
Thanks in advance.

your ac3filter settings are fucked up, load up something with ac3 in media player classic (not windows ffs) then go to the filters menu. In the ac3filter you need to setup your options correctly, 5.1 if you've got that, autogain, put voice on full volume and the other channels a bit lower.
You've basically not got your options setup to match your system, I'm guessing you've not bothered doing it at all thus far right?
