I've got a DVD-R that won't read with DVD-Decrypter or Windows explorer. It's not css encrypted, but when I try to copy the data off it I get a windows error message.

DVDDecrypter gives me this:

Is there another application I could try that might read the disc a bit better? Tried it in 3 different drives and get the same result. :(

yeah, I get a few of them, I have to try another drive, which normally results in the same thing.

You can clean it, or I'd recommend trying AnyDVD.

Your DVDr is perhaps scratched? I got bad boys 2 from the DVD rental place I use, and it did the same thing. I played it in my standalone and it jumped at two places.

It copied with CloneDVD but it jumped still, so I can only assume its a bad master or the DVD was scratched.

Worked a treat, cheers Spud. :beerchug:

It was scratched, spindle hole was split, and the label was on cock-eyed but managed to simply copy the VIDEO_TS folder with windows explorer while AnyDVD was installed. :D
