/me slaps everyone about a bit.

What's everyones setup regarding BBA *missing link* PC? I got my linked up to a router. It gets a bit choppy during movies and such, so I guess there must be a way to speed things up. I noticed that when it went laggy, my hdd light was flashing showing that it was reading from disk, so I'm going to move some ISOs from ATA --> SATA and hope it makes a difference. Does it make much difference if you use a direct cross over to NIC?

Anyways, I was playing Spiderman 2 :) I was very impressed to hear Bruce Campbell telling you the controls in a very sarcastic/tongue in cheek way.. great stuff... must have been the cheapest actor on the spidey crew to hire

wow that made a huge difference, spiderman2 plays pretty well and that's a very disc-intensive game too, so I guess I'll play off one of my SATA drives from now on :)

oh and Bruce Campbell's instructions are cool :)

:) cool, well I hope its geninue, streaming isos has a few speed quarms and there's some titles you can't save on and what not, but its cool.

I've been playing Legend of Zelda: Four Swords and it plays perfectly (only slight sound distortion on the title menu once)... its a really cool game too, just like old school Zelda on the SNES :) Only thing that's a bit of a blag is that you can only carry one item, but then that makes it a bit more tactical.

Looks great anyway. Spiderman2 is cool too, moving the iso to a faster drive was the clincher.

BTW, anyone interested in me making a gamecube list/thread? There are a lot more isos on emule than I thought there would be :o Including the resident evils (except I couldn't find Remake and Veronica :( )

Have you tried warp pipe? It tricks network games into thinking the internet is a lan. You can apparantly play Mario Kart over the net that way.

Sorry to bring up an almost year-old quote, but I was just wondering, now you got yr BBA Spud, did you ever try out WP? Only I was trying the other day and couldn't get it working

How is the loader fun going too? If you need a game, just ask maybe I can share it...

lol, well I got loads of the way into LoZ four swords and unfortunately lots of other thigns got in the way and I haven't played on it for about a week.

I haven't played on anything via warp pipe, but there are other solutions available that do the same thing. The official homepage is here:
http://www.warppipe.com/ / http://forums.warppipe.com/
Maybe it has some useful troubleshooting info?
