No, it's a smaller Gameboy Advance without the ability to play Gameboy / GBC games.

The DS is kind of going strong, I rarely use mine (although I'm playing Advance Wars DS ATM)

Do you not really play online too much then? I'll give you my friend code if you want it. I have Tony Hawk too if you like that skateboarding stuff.

And PCA, were you running emule when you were playing online? When I had my upload up it wouldn't find many players, but when I'm not running and p2p, I find people no problem, and usually 3 at a time...

Quote:
Yesterday Nintendo announced that it has sold out of DS systems in Japan. Nintendo has issued an apology on their website and promises that a new shipment should be arriving near the end of January. Until then, they will continue restocking in small amounts as DSes become available.

The DS has been selling like crazy in Japan, and it seems Nintendo underestimated just how high the demand would be during the last few weeks (which are always some of the highest sales weeks of the year). The DS sold nearly 600,000 the week of the 19th and over 400,000 the week before, which is unprecedented for a portable console in Japan.

Sorry I'm late with this, but my friend code is 498276-227525, I've added you PCA.

Also did you ever order a flash cart that you can use with DS? I got a passme, but my old gba flash cart wasn't compatible for DS roms :( I just got round to ordering a Supercard SD the other day, waiting for it to arrive.

Supercard, it's cheap and it works with SD cards so you can store a shit load of games :)

BUT you'll need a passthru 2 as well

He won't need a passthru if he only wants to play GBA games, but
Supercard hasn't got the best compatability with GBA apparently.

There's not many GBA roms with problems now, the few there are don't work perfectly warrant spending almost double on the M3 perfect IMHO

Spud you said your sister has a GBA SP, do you mean she has a DS?

And PCA, do you know where there is a compatability list for the GBA roms with Supercard? (Not the DS roms) Cheers

Sorry to ask but..........

Recently got a DS (and love it) so which is the best option to go for then to play romz/music/movies?

Supercard or G6Flash

I'm hedging more towards Supercard as I have a 1+ gig sd card already and from the looks of it the g6flash is a wee bit expensive.

So any-one got one of these for their DS and what they think?
Wheres the best place to pick one up, lik sang don't seem to stock and ebay yeilded only a couple of results.

Appreciate any help.
