1280x960. Many people use 1280x1024, but it's slightly squashed vertically, and i can't stand wrong aspect ratio... |

None of us who clicked 1280x1024 will admit it either 
It just looks so damn... wide. But I bet it hurts your eyes.

Nobody ever believe me so I always put print scrn picture of my desktop resolution it is better for my eyes... because I need at least 100 Hz refresh rate

I've a hercules card from 1988 so mine is 640x200
Nah, I've a 19" too. Max res is 1280x1024 and it looks damn crispy. This is on all my machines except my server which doesn't have a monitor. |

sounds like your monitor sucks helen
Take a look at a big TFT and its the small screens that will give you a major headache. Very difficult for me to work on a poor CRT after working with a DELL 2001fp for so long, it hurts my eyes. |
