This is a point of interest for a number of reasons, but anyhow, what is your main machines desktop resolution? ![]() If you have a widescreen monitor or a different resolution to one listed, choose the nearest vertical value ![]() |

1280x960. Many people use 1280x1024, but it's slightly squashed vertically, and i can't stand wrong aspect ratio... |

Nobody ever believe me so I always put print scrn picture of my desktop resolution it is better for my eyes... because I need at least 100 Hz refresh rate ![]() |

I've a hercules card from 1988 so mine is 640x200 ![]() Nah, I've a 19" too. Max res is 1280x1024 and it looks damn crispy. This is on all my machines except my server which doesn't have a monitor. |

1024x768 Anything above that and I can't really see it too well and I start to get headaches. It's hell to get old. |

sounds like your monitor sucks helen ![]() Take a look at a big TFT and its the small screens that will give you a major headache. Very difficult for me to work on a poor CRT after working with a DELL 2001fp for so long, it hurts my eyes. |
