Nice idea, i''ll delay my photographs and stats posting for about a week until my new monitor arrives :) There was an old old thread i remember where i listed the stats for my pcs but things have changed quite a lot since then.

I'm considering buying a new graphics card just to tide me over until next march or so when i'll buy a new system. Tide me over meaning increase my Total War experience what with Medieval 2:Total War so close :)

Ah nice man. I would like to make some changes with my computer. I am starting to get really into recording so I think i might buy this cool adapter to hook up like 4 mics to my computer, then I whanna buy a preamp to record guitar direct to my computer and I might get another moniter and do away with this POS tv that eats up space on my desk :matrix: :matrix: :matrix:

just series 1 and 2, the others cost like £20 which is £15 too much for me. I've had to move lots of my dvds to that shelf you see cos the other one filled up :(

Oxo tin... do they make them anymore? ;)

No one mentioned Skeletor's severed head on top of the monitoz

I forgot to mention, the laptop on the desk is a Acer TravelMate 8100, bought because it was decent performance for the price. Had the important 1GB of ram at the time.

The two things by the oxo tub are my ipod 80GB in case and my IPAQ 5450 which i intend on selling.

Heya computer masters, I need some recommendations for a new graphic card.

Just recently took a serious path back to video editing, so Im boosting system memory and would need a better graphic card too.

Im heading for something with good pixel shading and lotsa power :D Or whatever would give me better rendering speeds with video poop.

Dunno what's the current status with ATI or Nvidia. I now have an ATI, so dunno if it would be a prob with just replacing it with Nvidia.

btw the motherboard doesn't supprt graphs with 3,3V, whatever that means

Thanks for any suggestions! :beerchug:

edit: oh shit, just noticed. What's this new PCI-E thing? I thought AGP was in use or something :wacky: I don't think my motherboard has PCI-E

edi2: reading over the internet, I guess Im stuck in the past :wacky: Dang, maybe a complete upgrade would be needed. Although I think pumping the old hardware with a great AGP card and more memory could prove enough :zombie:
