Post subject: | Strange dvdrom backup problem |
I'm hasving a bit of a bizarre problem with my dvd drive (LITE-ON SHM-165P6S). Just recently I have been able to burn video files to disc but it won't read those files when Iput the disc back in. Other PCs can see them. My standalone can see them. But the f?"&^ng drive I burned them with can't!! I usually use nero but have tried other software with no luck. I have also updated drivers etc. It's driving me mental! Any suggestions or solutions? |

This happened with my Asus, it was because the burner was dying ![]() |

Many thanks for the quick reply. I have cannibalised my old pc and saved the old drive. Guess I'll stick to that. ![]() Cheers ![]() |
