Post subject:  Emule Mod Clients, Which Do You Use & Why Do You Prefer

I've only just started trying these out. Magic Angel wouldnt work for me at all so cant comment on that one. I'm using MorphXT to release & I like the extra friendslots & the powershare functions. Being able to control how much percentage of the upload is given to friends is also good as is the share only the missing chunks option.
I've installed & trying out ExtremeMod atm on main mule & I'm not as impressed as I was with MorphXT. Back to 1 friendslot although the powershare seems to work better. My biggest gripe is that I've had everything on pause for a while due to being a lazy arse & not burning anything off. Now I've some space & unpaused a load of stuff, my d/l b/w is maxed out but unlike the unmodified 0.47c, this is stalling my uploads. Stock client carried on uploading regardless of my d/ls but this seems to like reducing my upload speed to virtually nothing intermittently.

So whats your experience with these & other mods?

I've tried MorphXT and eMule Plus. Plus was a massive memory hog and MorphXT is what I'm using now and I have absolutely no reason to try anything else.

I will steal this tread for a sec to ask one question: i'm tryin' to use MorphXT (i use binaries, haven't installed) and i got rid of binaries of official client. but now when i am tryin to add a link from a site my web browser (Opera) tells me that file was not found. what should i do to enable the scrypts to work with morph instead of official client?

tia for any help.

Try this...
Go to options & click the ED2K links button in Generals tab. That may set you up right. Let me know if it works :D
