anybody use dictation software for thier computer?
Example - speaking into a microphone and having it translate into text?

Any one use any good kind? are there any good kinds?

Have you tried 'Dragon Naturally Speaking' ?
A friend of mine is dislexic & thats what he was using for his college essays. 8)

I think Dragon is meant to be the best; watch out if you have an accent though, takes a lot more training.

A student at my school has this on a laptop because she can't write for a period of time. I heard it took several hours (up to 20) to make the program get used to your voice, but after that it worked flawlessly.

If you want, I can ask which program they used.
