Which is kinda my concern with these programs in general. I think what I really need to do is learn
more about the various functions of the registry to have confidence in using these cleaners. I tried
two of them and they both created the same problem with WSFTP. I get an error saying that WSFTP
is not configured for this user. I'm guessing it deleted an entry in the registry permitting me to run
my FTP client. Once I found that problem I just assumed that there would be more like it. In a way
I was hoping that by selecting 'fix all' that the cleaner would know what it was doing. Hence, I think
I will try to learn more precisely the nature of the BSOD problem and go from there.
I guess this is worth asking as well: For you all that use these cleaners, have you ever needed to
restore your computer due the cleaning process? Using two cleaners, they both found around 600(!)
problems to fix....
