Very not bad tool. I used it to add subtitles onto movie. Sometimes this option is usefull. And it's very easy and fast-enough.
Good tool. But it's new, and we don't have now full cracked version. But, in my opinion, it's not so bad. Yes, they put in demo version gomencoder logo onto movie, but it's not big and... only ten seconds at the beginning. So, usually, just on the titležcredits or even 20th century fox and all those introductions.
Try now and wait for full version :beerchug:

I don't get it; isn't this just another sucky 1 click encoder, can you answer these two for me so i can understand its merit:

why in the name of greek buggery would i want to hardcode subs and why is that considered good (and why is it better than just using avisynth to do it if you were that way inclined)?
why wouldn't I use Gknot + xvid / x264?

Seems like another vapourware encoder, unless there's some quality / encoding algorithm/codec its using that better than the average?

Indeed. Hardcoded subs are teh suck. :D Most divx players or XBMC should be able to deal with sub files at this point.

Reading the home page for Gomlab, it kinda looks like it is useful for encoding files for
types of formats besides DVD/Dvix. They highlight converting files for PSP, IPOD, home pages,
etc. Why anyone would want to watch movies on such small screen is beyond me. I don't know if you can do those
types of conversions with Gordian Knot. I've only ever used autoGK for the few items that I wanted to rip.
