Just out of curiosity :D

I've been using Mozilla Firebird for quite some time now and I am sure to say I'll never turn back to IE. Firebird has so many extra's that makes browsing alot easier. For instance

* Tabbed Browsing
* Control pop ups
* Safe from malicious ActiveX stuff
* Renders webpages faster
* Possible to block Ads and Banners

I probably left out some options, but as you can see it's already safer and easier to browse with Firebird then it would be with IE. To be honest I don't know how Firebird compares to other browsers like Opera, Netscape, etc.. since I haven't used them. Heard good things about Opera though.

Put "Other" in there as an option, but didn't show up :?

To be fair:
Mozilla
Firebird
Netscape

are all practically the same thing :lol: Netscape core, with bangles and tinsle on the top :)

I have three on my system, opera, mozilla firebird and IE. IE is there because of poor developers making poor websites. Opera is my most used and the better. Mozilla is in second, but just isn't as good as opera. I mostly use opera, and ie when i have to. mozilla was used for many months but i went back to opera.

So I download the free version (which is a trial?) and then just copy/paste the serial?

Nice feature btw :beerchug:

You are all lying. All the expensive studies M$ buys prove that at least 98% of all internet users use the IE. So the results above must be wrong.

Opera (IE for pages that won't open, although I simply try to avoid them because they piss me off). In comparison with IE it is of course: better, faster, more stable, allows continuing of the last session after a crash and opening pages in the background, and has much more nice features.

12 of u? Damn, lazy people using that browser.

Firefox huh? I don't know why they don't just call it the Dark Pheonix and have done with it. That way they can a) show that they are quite clearly geeks (although i think that makes me a geek too for suggesting this :( ) b) be associated with *nix by name c) get Wolverine to endorse their product

@Carlos, my mum was from LV-426. :wacky:

I was one of those 12 (sorry) ;)
But am now using Opera (mostly), there are a couple of things I don't like (or can't find), but on the whole it's nice, I like the skinning and the tabbed browsing.

I've been using Opera the past few days and it seems to be an alright browser. Still prefer Firefox though :P Anyways, is there a way to block banners and ads in Opera like it?s possible in Firefox?

Btw, 15 people still using IEImage
