Has anyone got an uptodate ipfilter.dat I can have? My net is pissing around so searching is slow to say the least. I just realised I have no block list in sygate due to a re-install, and m,y mule has no blocklist either LOL

I know opinions are varied on the validity of a blocklist, but I wish to have one for peace of mind, whether it works or not LOL

@Jynks, it is supposed to block RIAA and the other fuckers, but it is open to debate how successfull it actually is. I prefer to err on the side of caution, the way I see it is that it won't do any harm.

@Somerandomdude, hey, it's better than nothing. I do not like the peerguardian list as it is way too general and has blocked lotsa sites for me too. For example, it blocks the dawn of the dead movie site. I have ditched my sygate list, just gonna use emule and the plugin for azureus when I am on BT.

If you're interested in security, check out Protowall, it blocks traffic on all protocols from IP ranges that you specify. To keep your IP list up to date, try the Blocklist Manager, it updates your ipfilter.dat as well as Protowall.
