Post subject: | Picture Viewer for Windows 2000? |
OK, I'm a transient from windows XP and am now enjoying the joys of a stable windows release (Windows 2000). But the one thing I do miss from XP is the picture viewer app that came with it ![]() I've checked M$ and it's only available for XP ![]() ![]() Does any-one know of a good alternative? At the moment I'm using IE to view jpegs/GIF's etc. Now I now that PS PRO and PhotoShop can open them, but what I liked about picture viewer was it was nice and neat and compact and loaded images instantly and allowed you to go back and forward through a directory of images, zoom in/out etc etc. So I'm looking for an alternative. I don't wanna edit the images or anything just be able to click them and have them load quickly and then be able to zoom and go back and forth through a directory of JPEG's. People who have used Picture Viewer will know what I mean ![]() Any suggestions??? |

Well you should upgrade Polityk, The Ne ACDSEE is exceptionally good. However for my purposes I've gone with wait for it...................... Micro$oft Picture Manager (Office 2003) becuase it does just what I want, however gonna use ACDSEE for the main bulk of any picture organization or stuff i need. Just for quick loading of files and browsing through Picture manager does the job!!! But cheers for the heads up on ACDSEE! |
