great stuff, now i need to know which model they are. Don't want to get stuck with an unchippable piece of crap.

I'll put it this way, the games suck ass so I don't want one for that

I would imagine they're old (and therefore OK) :)

Having said that Sainsbury's are pretty good (usually) for customer service, so if it's un soft-modable (all Xbox's can be chipped) then they should take it back :)

is this actually a go? Sainsbury's shops round here a totally gay and their website is perhaps the worst I've ever used. How can they even compete against Walmart and tescos?

Anyway, is this actually a genuine deal, I don't want to trail to some f*cking awful supermegastore miles away to get a DVDplayer?

BTW, if you have a WH Smiths near you that still stocks HW and SW for consoles, you might be lucky soon, all but the most profitable stores are soon to be dropping this stuff and sticking with a small selection of office orientated soft for PC :moon:

Nowhere f*cking sells consoles though, so its all hypothetical.

Anywhere that isn't a million miles away from the civilised world? j/k
I believe the White Rose Center may sell consoles, so I'm off to their to take a look today.

I'd get a PS2, but I owned one and never used it, and what with having a PC and looking to get an Xbox, all the class games are pretty much covered. I owned one for a year after launch :( ... how can a console survive on a promise "oh... there'll be a good game eventually". And what came out after months of that? GT3  Wasn't until GTA3 came out that I really played on it... I even had it chipped :o

So I think i'll just grab an xbox if there are any, even though PS2s are significantly discounted :) If there are any peeps interested in PS2s, worth a look see :)

Spud, the REALLY good thing about those xbox's (if you can get one) is that they should all be old enough to "chip" without a chip (i.e software mod) so ?69.99 is all you will EVER need to pay.

lmao, coolness. I hope that they do sell them and have some in stock. Would be a bargain.

If you got time can you take a glance @

I can't remember the url of that site that lists details about the Xbox revision numbers and drives. I think it was you that posted it ages ago :)

Thanks,
Spudikins :wacky:

My intention was to get a few, mod them and sell em for ?150  Everyone here are total pussies and won't touch their consoles, but at the same time want em chipped.

I think it was Sainsburys employees who were buying the f*ckers and using their discount cards, but I think being situated where it was is why they went.... nothing more to say ;)
