Hey..

Can anyone tell me a good caping program? I've tried Monkeysmasher's, but that didn't go very well.

I also tried Dr.Divx, but for some reason I can't use this anymore. The program looked very easy, but I get a message that the trialperiod has expired even if I uninstall it and install it again. Any tips? :D

how do you capture? ie. what is the native format of your card?

Studio 7 is for DV .avi rather than MPEG2 that lots of cards capture as. It's then a simple matter of loading into gknot, applying some filters to clean up the source and... well you can follow my guide in the other VHS capture thread :) Yuo get a decent result with that method.

A DV bridge, not really the same, but its for capturing video/audio from cameras/vcrs/etc. so it does the same :)

Nope, wouldn't touch pinnacle I don't think, I use pinncale studio 7 which is a good program I've found, but no pinnacle hardware. I have a year or two old Dazzle Hollywood Bridge... check this thread:
