OK, I'm quite a resourceful guy, but how the hell am I supposed to mount the rear speakers when there's no wall or any other suitable surface behind me?

I think I need to attach thm to my chair somehow, any ideas as to how anyone?

Put some legs under them. They will look silly in the center of the room with some wires and tripod style legs; but it's more stable than mounting to chair.

mmm, yeah I guess, but I quite like the idea of not having to keep putting them away and getting them back out because that means I wont use the rears at all

mine are on some small ornament type shelf :) However, you simply need to get some speaker stands as said. They sell them at ikea with nearly all the parts you need included :wacky:

Seriously, just look in one of those catalogues, they do metal stands, which is just a pole with a speak mount on. :)

You could always dangle them from the roof on some kind of mission impossible style pulley system :wacky:

Hang them from the ceiling.

Or just mount them to the ceiling.
