If (like me) you have a directory with lots of little files and want to back it up across a number of disks, but want to minimise the amount of disks you use, try Burn to the Brim it analyses the files to see the best way of filling the media to the limit, thereby hopefully needing less of them :)

It's ideal for large amounts of mp3's or mame roms etc (i'm using it to backup mame and it works a treat)

I've got some setting ideal for DVD-/+r/rw and for really big directories if anyone wants them :)

lol, but for us catalogue by name and number types, it won't do

Thanks for the app, really am tired of not finding suitable content to fill up several hundred mb of space :matrix:

Yep, you try backing up 4000 roms over as few dvd's as possible when they are all .zips in one directory

wouldn't finding the correct rom be a bit difficult if you don't burn them alphabetically?

It doesn't matter, it's a backup, they're always on my HD in entirety

Okay I found out what the problem is, they've f*cked up their latest build... it doesn't work at all, and it can't detect DVD size, doesn't move to directories, etc.

They issued a fix, I spotted it on the Sourceforge bug report page ;)
