Recently bought an mp3 player and the cd I want to rip is copy protected!!

Any suggestions for software or workarounds?

(maybe next time I'll just d/looad from those who know better!) :?

Downloading is your best bet and probably the easiest :P

But check this <a href="http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic.php?t=4581" target=blank>thread</a>. I think that it will answer your questions

Or you could just hold shift before loading the disc into the pc?

I use cdex to rip my cds and it never had a problem with any copy protected cds so far even without the shift trick lol

Cheers folks!

I have tried the shift method with both eac and cdex but no joy so far.

I'll check out the link to the thread and see if I get on any better. :)
