Beyond emule, I was wondering how people spread their file around (particularly addressed at any release group members here). I've just sorted out my ftp (upgraded the software, setup some accounts, etc.) but there has to be a better way these days surely?

nope but BT haven't stated what the rates will be per extra gig d/l yet have they? so i'm wondering if they may not do the deadly gig limitation....in all reality if they do enforce d/l limits per month then i'll be amazed if they have any customers left :o

two ISP's i've got in mind are either bulldog or eclipse....we'll see eh :wacky:

Speaking of which, they've been seriously told off about their monopoly by ofcom this week. Who have demanded fairer access to the network for other companies. Bulldogdsl are pretty much the major one, there's lots of companies at BTs ankles to uncap their network, and with this ofcom decision, they have to do something about it.

Ditto Bulldog, possibly Nildram. My only niggle with Bulldog is that e-mail is extra (and of course that only Cockneys get the best bandwidth).

?2.99 per month for e-mail, spam filtering etc. Although if BT do enforce the cap I probably will go for Bulldog.

I could tell you peasants how we do it, but then I would have to kill you all.

We gotta sweet system going. In the voice of Rolf Harris "Can you guess what it is yet?"

Oops, same here. I didn't realise "AllTime outside central London" was a hyperlink, thought it was a description of this package. But as you say 1mb will do fine. 8)
