So the updates came in last night .... amongst it was a malware removal tool.....

Couldn't find the bloody thing and after just googlin for a few mins I found out I'm not the only one :wacky:

It wouldn't be some glorified update for that M$ Antispyware thing I got installed somewhere would it now ?
(The reason I installed that pile a shit was I reckoned no Rat knows the sewer better than the rats that built it)

logic would suggest it would be under add/remove programs in Control Panel. Logic would also suggest not bother using it, since its made by microsoft and you really should no better by now. :wacky:

Anyway , Naturally, that was the first place I searched ..... Can find the new windows 3.1 (eh? ) installer.....no malware removal tool though....

(BTW the malware software came with the aquisition of some romanian anti-vir company..... it reportedly already has established anti-vir companies wrangling & rattling their tales....)

http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwa ... fault.mspx

Espescially take note of this part :

Quote:
Windows XP users may get the latest version through Windows Update. To have the newest versions automatically delivered and installed as soon as they are released, set the Automatic Updates feature to Automatic.

Note The version of this tool delivered by Windows Update runs in the background and then deletes itself. If you would like to run this tool more than once a month, use the version on this Web page or install the version that is available in the Download Center.

:o

So this piece a junk just comes in thru my back door , dives in my fridge and then just leaves my HD ? Well hey , make yourself comfortable ..... next time take that messenger crap with you will ya ! :matrix:
