On Opera's site it says its still beta, but I'll have a try when I get home.

I bet there's a firefox plugin shortly!

I agree about their motivations, Gaming networks use it to distrubute files, when you select a mirror, its more convient now to go the torrent route since it stays in the client, linux for distros use torrents too.

IMO very smart idea, simple but smart.

Interesting info. I use Firefox and I'll be sticking with it but I seriously hope Micro$oft jumps on this as well with Internet Exploder (though I doubt it) - reason I hope it happens is I'd much rather the focus of the copyright infringement witchunt shifts towards the corporate sphere and takes the heat off the P2P users at home and site ops. Wishful thinking which isn't likely to happen but who knows. Good for the guys at Opera though.

Opera rules - been using it for 4 years or more. Don't see the fascination with Firefox - I have it installed but rarely use it. Only advantage it has is it's plugins - the way they auto instal - superb that - if Opera could do that it would be untouchable. Opera has Mouse gestures so until Firefox gets those I am Opera all the way.

Someone is going to come on now and tell me Firefox has Mouse gestures and make me look like a Dick. Wont be the first time. :D

its does actually, there's about fourbillion plugins that offer it to different levels too.

The thing about opera, and firefox being better:
