Cool.

Is it any good? Do you have to pay to access the service (during the trial)?

I saw in the News they were testing it in Oxford.

The soundbites had positive feedback with alot of people saying that it came in handy having TV on their mobile.

But that it wasn't really something they would invest in :?

No it's free for the duration of the trial, quality is pretty poor though, so I probably wouldn't pay for it anyway........

We already pay through the nose for BBC anyway, so I can't see people shelling out again to watch what they already pay for (OK, you'll be paying the phone company rather than the BBC, but same principle).

Plus, what's the main time you would use it? Daytime. When TV is shit.

Call me a skeptic but this is completely f*cking useless  TV on a handheld is like sex in a barrel, cramped, awkward and just not as appealing as going at it properally. You got to be pretty desperate to resort to watching tv on a mobile.

Big no to video on the move from me. Flip Flop ;)

I couldn't agree more to be honest Spud, there are some quality issues too.

If I want video on the move, i'll encode stuff myself as the quality is SO much better

Being able to view vids is OK, but TV is pretty pointless.

Very cool sounding, but pointless.
