I'm trying to copy a dual layer dvd down to a regular 4.5gb dvdr. I'd like to get rid of the fullscreen and only have the widescreen, menues, featurettes etc. When i compress it the way it is...im left with horrid quality, so it would be nice to just rip out the fullscreen. Is there a way to do this? |

yes, many programs do it. You can use dvdshrink to drop video (just don't let it re-encode or it will look terrible). Use that, or a similar program to drop the video you don't want and save uncompressed. If its over 4.38GB, use DVDrebuilder on it. |

Just use DVDshrink to change the fullscreen version to a still image. But like spud said, don't let it re-encode anything. Be sure to set EVERYTHING else to "No Compression." |

no probs, just for the love of god don't let dvdshrink rape (or "transcode" as it says on the tin) your video. |
