Ok, i was raised on horror and ive managed to track down most of the gems i remember seeing at a very early age. However there are some that remain a mystery to me till this day. All i have left to remember them are flashbacks of greusome and/or creepy scenes. Thats where you fine people come in...
1. A kid(?) drowns a cat in a bowl of milk. Or at least he tries to drown the poor kitty.
I remember this scene particularly because im not fond of seeing animals tortured/killed but thats not to say this wasnt a good horror film. I dont know because i cant remember. And no, it wasnt Bad Ronald. I have Bad Ronald on dvdr and nowhere does he drown a cat in a bowl of milk. If he does then my version is obviously cut.
This had to be a 60s,70s, or VERY early 80s horror film.
2. A women is made into a fucking human mobile! Yikes!
Thats right, a human mobile. You know them little things that twirl around and make cute little music and are hung above a babies crib? Well i saw a movie where there was a scene where a woman was dismembered and made into something that looked like a godamn mobile! This fucking image is burned into my mind forever! I dont remember seeing the woman being dismembered i just remember seeing her chopped up corpse hanging in a way that looked to be a mobile. Remember i was quite young so maybe my mind just interpreted it that way.
3. 2 woman walking down a spiral(?) staircase wearing black(?) gowns or robes and holding candles.
Note that this was the last scene in the movie or at least one of the last scenes. You know how alot of 70s horror films had a habit of freezing on the last scene? It was usually something shocking and then the credits would roll and some somber,eerie, or just plain corny music would play. This also happened in the early 80s(sleepaway camp). Well, the aboved described scene is all i can remember.
If i were to speculate i would say that this film was about a vampire cult or some sort of black magic cult. It was probably made in the late 60s through the mid 70s. I originally thought maybe this was a Hammer film but upon doing some research i dont believe it is. I also collected some of the 70s vampire/lesbian/nun/sexploitation films but to no avail. Considering this was on TV(before the vcr)i thought maybe it was one of the movies shown during a local horror show in my area called Creature Double Feature. However i obtained a list of all movies shown on that show and none of them seem to match. I own all of the vampire films shown on Creature Double Feature and no luck. I suppose its possible i missed something though.
