What another F^*King awfull year this was....

Gave Evil Aliens a double nominee due to a lack of serious contenders...
The "Worst Movie " category was the easiest to fill - could have nominated a dozen for that one , Return ot liv dead 4 & Day of the dead 2 escaped a nominee, just to name two there....

Bit late to confess that I've only seen about 55 % of them... Don't think watching the other 45 would change things much though....

I ommited all the categories pretty much because 2005 was a lousy year. Land of the Dead was okay, but to give it an award? it just wasn't a dead movie.

Actresses still can't act... no, ranging the volume of your voice, ie whispering and screaming isn't acting ladies... oh wait maybe it is? I was never big on dramas

League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse was one of the films i liked, it wasn't brilliant or particularly hilarious, but i get the sense that they weren't going for hilarity, more of a b-movie homage, what with the claymation style cgi, and the dark story. I know people don't like it, but i think they aren't treating it as what it is but what LoG used to be. It was one of the better genre movies of last year anyway imo.

Uwe Boll's movies are still the worst i've ever seen, probably.

There's some films i've not seen, there's some movies I don't want to see. Most surprising movie was W&G, one of the best animations i've seen and makes stuff like corpse bride look like a total pos.

So unlike at the award ceromonies, when its all crap, I'm not just going to give stuff out to any old smuck, we'll just have to give the 2005 award to the 2006 winner as well next year

2005 has been a terrible year for films, and suprisingly quated in movioe mags as the year of horror movies. Many came out, we had an undead spree, but almost all were crap-o-la. Luckly a few decent ones did sneak through... so lets hope that more come out next year... more good ones that is... (Oh to bring back the 70's era of move making!!!

Why did you include MoH episodes? That throws the scale to include those. I can't consider them, personally (though they were trumpeted as 'films'). Also I can't BELIEVE anyone would nominate Emily Rose! It was OK, but very boring and way too drawn out, to the point that when the climax came I couldn't've gave a shit. I'm surprised of how many of the listed films I have seen, maybe you guys haven't watched any of them? since that got several nominations.... My opinion, I guess, isn't commonly shared.

I've started watching the rest, so I hope this thread goes on for awhile before awards are considered. Can we wait maybe 6 months from now before giving them out?

That goes overhere also. Haven't seen like 50% of the list. The nominations are for the films i've seen. I've been more busy with '60, '70 and '80's movies.
I still have a couple to watch but i'm sure i will not watch them all.

I think i am the only one who did any Mastres of horror nominations.... and even that nomination is in the "FREE FOR ALL - NOMINATE A FICTIONAL CATEGORY : " section under the title "Best of made for Television"... though I did add john Carpenter to the director list..

As far as I can see MOH are films. I mean what is the dif between a strait to DvD movcie like hellraser 8 and a masters of horror... neither saw a cinima release.

2005 was the year I got finally broadband, and the year I first came to HHAH - don't think my computers been off for more than a few minutes since. Cheers fellas - a great site.

The thing is , I waited 2 months before posting this..... thinking most people lag behind a bit so they could catch up .... but neither did I want to wait 6 months, the time when most people have forgotten half the stuff they viewed that year..... (which is not a bad thing in most cases )

Really though there's no rush - not expiry date , well I guess 31st dec 2006...
