1. Dog Soldiers :!:
(I will never grow tired of this movie. Words can not describe.)

2. Brotherhood Of The Wolf :!:
(Maybe not a werewolf-movie but still the best french movie I have ever seen.)

3. An American Werewolf In Paris
(Liked this better than the original American Werewolf but don't know why.)

4. Ginger Snaps
(Too much like my girlfriend when she has her
period.)

5. American Werewolf In London
(Yeah alright, I was scared studip the first time I saw it.. But I was 12..)

And lastly I would just like to mention the worst Werewolf-movie ever:

Darkwolf (Utter crap.. Everyone that had anything to do with this movie should be publicly tortured) :matrix:

Did have a rip of it, but nowhere to be found now. So the links at FH are dried up? Would like to get it again.

Or are you speaking of just the director's cut?

Just about the director's cut. Haven't even ever seen the movie, but don't want to download the original version as there's more "complete" version available. Waiting for some dir-cut rip to appear. Those links have been dead every time I've tried. Haven't checked them in a while though...

Looks like the Director's Cut is 150min. What about that last one that heaver mentioned?

Got a vhs of Wolfen in english,I think I ripped brotherhood but don't quote me on that..I need to look through my stacks of cd's.It's sort of a cross between Last of the Mohicans and Company of Wolves.Don't forget about the cool werewolf scene in Waxwork too...very good effects in that little bit.

Yeah
People posted specs for the same shitty rip, but with different filename, maybe four times

Hm. That could be a good one. If it's dir-cut (UE) for sure. I'll post soon a question for heaver about that one :)

Forgot to down Waxwork. Adding it to the paused list now =)

The releaser confirmed that this is the original version not the director's cut :(

I completed 'The Company of Wolves' so I'll make a post of it in dvdrip section also :)

But just in case someone is interested; here some Ginger Snaps II previews.

Check out both GS2 trailers.

Doesn't look that bad at all. I'm actually, quite eagerly, looking forward for this :wacky:

A great review of the first movie, if you haven't seen it yet and don't wanna bother to download it ;)

Wanted to post this small news scoop. =)

Fangoria wrote:
January 19: Producers talk DOG SOLDIERS: FRESH MEAT
FANGORIA scribe Marc Shapiro reports in with news on the eagerly awaited sequel:

DOG SOLDIERS: FRESH MEAT, the follow-up to easily one of the most refreshing werewolf movies in years, will go before the cameras in April. Budgeted at $5.5 million and scheduled for a 35-day shoot, the sequel will be shot in either Luxembourg or Canada under the direction of Andy Armstrong (an action/2nd unit director with credits including HELLBOUND: HELLRAISER II, NIGHTBREED and HIGHWAYMEN) from an Eric Miller script. The story is by the original's returning producers, David E. Allen and Brian Patrick O'Toole.

"The new movie begins right at the end of the first film," Allen reveals. "Cooper is picked up by an American team who, we find out, were the real opponents for the war games for Sgt. Wells' squad. We discover more werewolves that we didn't know about from the first movie, who may or may not be part of the family. There's more action, more gore and there are definitely more werewolves. It's all out in the woods again, with plenty of guns and blood." As of now, no cast has been announced, including whether actor Kevin McKidd will return to reprise the Cooper role.

O'Toole offers that the approach to FRESH MEAT will be the same as on the original DOG SOLDIERS, which literally came out of nowhere to become a fan favorite and, in many critical eyes, joined GINGER SNAPS as one of the best werewolf movies since THE HOWLING and AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON. "Our idea with the first film was to make it for the fans," he says. "We made a small film about werewolves and treated it right. We didn't put our tongues in our cheeks. We set out to make a real horror film without the SCREAM-like nudges to other films."

Allen adds that DOG SOLDIERS: FRESH MEAT will definitely not be the last in this hairy saga. "We're definitely thinking in terms of a franchise," he says. "We have a third story sitting in the background, and we also have an idea for a prequel that would tell the story of the werewolf family. But don't look for DOG SOLDIERS IN OUTER SPACE or DOG SOLDIERS IN THE HOOD. We'll only make these movies as long as we can stay true to the nature of what the werewolves are really all about.

Can't hardly wait for this flick. Should be awesome stuff. :D
