Craftee - The film festival's an annual event from 2-12 October every year.

And they have (for the past 3 years) ended the festival with an all night horror fest!)

And after 5 films in a row and a totally nackered sleep pattern and work on the monday!
I'll be wishing I was in Lanzerote :x

I might go buy the tickets this week sometime whilst I'm at uni. The ticket sale is on the headrow somewhere? I saw firetrucks all over the joint right under a Leeds Film Festival sign last week when I was walking past, lets hope some skallywag ain't tried to burn down the ticket stall

Anyways how much for the all nighter and where to buy?
Meric Beaucoup

Added the poster to the main thread with all the info/times/prices!!!

You can get tickets from the Leeds Box Office which is in the town Hall.

Go down the stairs to the left of the town hall and into a tiny porch area to get to the Box Office.

It's gonna be a long (and lonly night as you lot arn't coming, but the films will be good!!!)

OK, there are five films showing on the night and NO combi style reduced price :matrix:

So at ?5 per film thats ?25 for the night.

But the consession price (students,OAP,unemployed etc) is ?4

So at ?4 per film thats ?20.

But I'm not seeing the last film as I've got it on Hard drive and would be asleep by 6AM anyway

So I'm seeing 4 KICK-ASS horror movies on the big screen for ?16

na, we live in England not Nazi-germany  or the USA :D

They only do that stuff at screeners for T3 or some big budget movie. Of course they kick you out if you have a camera at any cinema, but they won't exactly be looking.

ok,
but you get discount for being unemployed?

man, that would be sweet. being unemployed is hard work, somepeople give up on it after 6months-a year later, but you've got to stick with it, find a girlfriend to mooch off of, and dont quit no matter how fat or ugly she gets.

Bubba-ho-tep sold out on the saturday, I'm gonna have to see it on the Sunday.

Damn freaks filling up the cinema with no intention to watch any of the other films on that night, couldn't those wankers have just gone on the sunday instead of ballsing it up for everyone

I hadn't seen undead before you, I had it on my disk drive but didn't watch. Same goes for Beyond Re-animator.

Anyways, went back to see Bubba Ho-tep today (infact just got back). Different to what I was expecting but still was shit hot. Undead was cool dispite all the ending I asn't fond of, but still the gore and comedy made up for it. House of the Dead is utter, shite, we're talking Children of the Living Dead shit. Audience reaction summed it pretty much  Terrible stuff. Mucha Sangre was a plesant surprise, and seemed to work well on it's budget, lots of films struggle being on such a budget but the film was very easy and enjoyable to watch... well I'm not sure about the whole Alien impregnation thing  Beyond Re-animator was great too, much better than Bride :)

ps. Is it just me or is that cinema really shitty. I was far too big for the seats, and my joints were in agony when there were lots of people sitting in on Undead and House of the Dead (and BHT), but it was easier when everyone dissappeared so i could put my feet on the seats :)
