What a scaryily dark book, it's depressive, but compelling, i'd recommend it TBH :)

To ressurect this thread :
I'm currently reading Flicker by Theodore Roszak, which I've read before (years ago) and is excellent.

It's been out of print for a while but is back in print in readyness for the (bound to be poor) film version due later this year.

It's a book about the hidden subliminal messages in (fictitious) early horror auteur Max castle's works. I'm pretty sure anyone from this site (that reads) would enjoy it if only for the movies and people it name checks. Highly recommended.

Refreshing to read a book that is far from what you would call "entertainment", but drive such strong emotions.

Highly recommended.
