extremely surprised to see that. wtf is this anyhow ? not a neill marshall movie anymore, thats for sure.
(imo, as a consequence of it, this isnt so predictable in terms of style, screenplay, use/no use of cgi etc).

i totally dug the original one as well. first time watch was a blast.
have rewatched it only 1 or 2 months ago and i`d have to say, its lost A LOT of its original slickness.
if those 2, 3 really significant 'mysteries' are spoiled (comes with the territory of having seen a movie before), dog soldiers is only 30% the fun.

doesnt matter, its a good movie period.
what matters more is this new project and the fact its apparently by an entirely different crew- so we might just get the formula "dog soldiers fresh meat is to dog soldiers as is american werewolf in paris to american werewolf" after all

I liked the actors in part 1 and the aggression and action. Hope part 2 takes it to the next level.
