Could be good.
The second trailer, (shown at some kinda US convention, i think), looked like it might be the 'Imp-Show'; Didnt see many other critters in it. I got the feelin that this has been made as the set-up film for a new franchise... More monsters in later films?
The FPS bit looked spot-on, tho! Nice touch the way he pulls the gun upwards and back when he goes too close to a wall! The whole film shoulda bin done that way! :matrix:
I can just here Da Rock sayin the immortal line; 'WOW! Thats a Big Feckin Gun...' (The crowd goes wild!)
They coulda/shoulda kept it more like the game, tho; One main character with a couple of 'disposable' extras. Coulda been a cross between Die Hard and Aliens!
Oh well, still might be good; No Uwe-Boll-ocks! :voodoo:

lol, that makes it sound like it was some kind of academic meeting or a george bush crisis convention... they showed it at a comic book convention methinks, COMIC-SAN or whatever its called most likely.

I have an idea for Quake the movie if i were ever to make it :googley:
They'd have to invent a new classification "ultra restricted" or "super adult"

The daft thing is; kids, (over a certain age, of course), can 'take' and therefore deal-with more (fictional)horror than most adults!
I grew-up with the likes of TCM, EDead, ElmStreet, HHEyes, SOMusic and, I suppose, have become more desensitized to the violence. More able to differentiate between whats real and what isnt.
Does that make me bad? (My shrink says yes).:googley:
I can stomach the Guinea-Pig movies and even the August Underground stuff, but my poor parents would probably explode :eatthis: if they watched half the stuff I dloaded from ere!!!
I really hope you get to make the Quake movie! Make it Uber-Violent!!! :beerchug:
Sorry Im a bit schtonnnnnnnnneeeeddddddddddddd-d-d-d-d... :cheerleader:
Can you tell...

SOMusic? Please tell me you're not referring to The Sound of Music?

Saw the trailer and read my Fangoria wihich dropped in the mail like 6 weeks too late  and man this DOOMY little bugger seems utterly weak and not promising at all.

Ok I've never been a fan of these arcade to cinema conversions but it seems that this movie will be as good as a fresh pile of shit.
Some of you might find that enjoyable but I don't

Naaaaaah time to let the old ones rip again, will order my phantasm box right away !! :D

LOL I grew up on all the horror too. My mate from the age of around 8 had parents who were really into horror, used to get all the latest on pirate. I do not think it messed me up.

BTW Doom was a shit movie, I almost fell asleep several times, mind you I hate the Rock and his stupid Tefal man hairline.

Just like i expected hehehehhe

Strange enough another copy of Fangoria dropped in the mail today, The november issue. Strange coz it's never on time it always travels 6 weeks to Holland. Anyway again another giant issue about Doom.

Bleghhhhh :matrix:
