Freakmaker (AKA Mutations) - Well, if you love Tod Browning's Freaks,
then you'll hate this movie. It was a bit too exploitive and had no
heart to it. This one even rips off several of Freaks famous scenes.
Poor Donald Pleasence and if I'm not mistaken, the 4th Doctor Who
himself Tom Baker! How did they get roped into this bad film?

The Slayer - mmm, a bit boringm this one. Only the endscene is worth watching. The storyline was too simple and confusing at the same time.

Women Behind Bars - it took me a while to get the proper film: first I wanted to watch this but found out that it was Frauengefangnis. Then I downloaded this and watched it yesterday and I must say: for a Franco mivie this one is quite entertaining. Apart from a few scenes, I didn't get bored. Which is kind of special when watching Franco movies.

Frozen Scream - the plot outline looked more interesting than the film turned out to be. A shame: this story could have been much more. Now it's just a very, very badly acted film without any climax.

Waxwork - Strange but funny story with a nice cast. I had ripping good time. Looking forward to watching the sequel.

I forgot to post for a few days, so here it goes:

Terror Eyes - nice slasher video nasty, but really very predictable: after like 20 minutes I guessed who the killer was and I was right. After like 40 minutes they started to give more ands more hits on who the killer would be and I thought "Please don't, I already KNOW who it is!!". Apart from this annoyment, the film was quite entertaining. I think the other title, "Night School" is better chosen, btw.

Pranks - this was a boring nasty again. No sight of the killings, apart from the first few. No blood, no tension. I thought the storyline was made to surprise, but they overdid it so it became really unbelievable and implausible. The killer had the weakest motif ever for all the murders.

Night of the Bloody Apes - yay, entertaining from 15 mins into the movie until the end! Actually there's only one ape, but who cares? Old school face changing always makes me smile and in this case, the face became a gorilla! The gore was good and bad in a funny way.

Basic Instinct: It was a good thriller, though some scenes were out of place or a bit bad.

Currently watching: Sergio Stivaletti's Wax Mask. The 90's don't suit italian horror IMO.

The Funhouse - nice horror with a cute looking Elizabeth Berridge. Story is not very special, but the atmosphere is great.

Don't Look In The Basement - I still don't know why I shouldn't look in the basement. I thought the story in this movie was nice, the nurse was fingerlicking nice (but then again, I got a weak spot for nurses ;)) but only the endscene is horror. All the rest is thriller/drama. Blegh. And what about this basement?

Barry Lyndon - Very strange Kubrick movie, but very unique and well made.

The Wax Mask - Sergio Stilvetti did this and it's all right and a bit gory

Puzzle - Giallo from 1974 - nice heist story and a good cast. Recommended for giallo fans.

Torched - Sick short splatter movie, reminds me of I Spit On Your Grave, Last House On The Left, etc. Of course not as good as those though, but all right for a b-movie.

Batman Begins - Not a horror movie but quite enjoying. It was better than I assumed. Although I didn't like Katie Holmes in the female leading role.

At least in those days she looked pretty OK and wasn't totally scientologized...

Yesterday I watched Xmas horror:

Satan Claus - damn, very bad movie! Even for my standards this was bad. I'm sorry I bothered you guys with this. I'm very happy I didn't try another time to make the rip better, because this movie doesn't deserve it. If you're into bad movies, watch this. If not, avoid.

Silent Night Deadly Night - pretty OK slasher, with people being late in their reactions during the entire movie. This film would've been impossible to make if they wuold've been on time, because then there wouldn't have been any story to tell. Anyway, this film was to be the "best" I saw this evening.

Psycho Santa - this one was even worse compared to Satan Claus. Whereas Satan Claus only runs for 60 mins and has scenes that actually have some tempo, this turd creeps on in a very boring and tedious way. Some scenes in which people are walking through the woods take 5 minutes, and all you see is people walking through the woods! No suspense, no music (or bad keyboard tunes), just walking people. This movie is stupid, and I'm glad I was way too wasted to worry about it. This doesn't even get a recommendation for bad movie fans.

Ok then I'm not clicking that Satan Claus.

Yesterday I watched:

"Code Red: The Rubicon Conspiracy" - This is a Predator 1 copy. It's a bit different since there are two types of aliens in it but as soon as it turns out that the first kind of animal-like aliens where sent to earth by the second type only for test purposes and the second kind of alien is friendly + the real enemy are stupid capitalist humans all suspense is gone. Acting wasn't that bad and it wasn't really low budget but the directing ruined it. They could have made nice scenes with suspense like in Predator but instead you get stupid camera lags while you see the aliens... annoying. If you have nothing better to do than watch it, otherwise stay away.

I have been watching lately:

Santa's Slay - this was to conclude Xmas horror for this year and boy, am I glad I saved this one for last! It's a very funny and by times hilarious Xmas horror! See it if you can!

Nightmares In A Damaged Brain - I think it's because I had read so much about this film, that my expectations were too high. Therefore I thought less of this movie than I had expected. Still, the story is good enough and there's much gore. The flashback in the end is brilliant!

The Boneyard - it takes 45 minutes to get this movie going, but the second half is worth waiting for! Zombiekids eat bodies in the morgue, and while they're at it, people (and not only people  ) get mutated by the goo which is all over the floor by then. Great fun!

Chopper Chicks In Zombietown - great 80s fun with tough chicks, zombies and a bus full of blind kids. A real treat this film, recommended!

Just watched Zombie Flesh Eaters again for around the 30th time. Amazing film, fantastic soundtrack. The only bad thing about the movie is that womans awful pink swimming cap she wares whenever she gets her kit off.

Octane (2003) - Crappy horror movie with Madeleine Stowe. I think it was about a strange blood drinking sect, but in the end I'm still not totally sure what it was about. It started good but if you dislike the characters in the movie you don't really care what happens to them and there is no suspense.

The Nun of Monza - I found out there are two movies with this name, one from 1962 and one from 1969. This one (the video-man rip) is the 1969 version. I thought it was OK-ish, but not very special. I have seen other, and better, nunsploitation.

Demon Knight - before watching it I wasn't sure if I had watched this before or not. ome things were quite familiar, but I'm still not 100% sure. Does anyone know if there's another movie with a special key which holds blood? And that you can use the blood to lock doors for demons? At least in this movie I really liked Billy Zane, he does a great job here.

Manos - The Hands of Fate - MST3K version, even with the MST3K crew it was painful to watch :( , what happened with the little dog? Why does that Torgo guy scare me? What the hell were the two teens in the car and the cops doing in the movie? Why were the masters wifes fighting like sissies ?
Damn it i want to kill this movie

Damn you ZZ, for foulmouthing the master movie of the world!! All people that can't get the beuty of this brilliantly shot, well directed and very fine acted movie are culturally inept!

Hehe, Manos is just the worst film ever. You should know that before you watch it, so you can have fun with it.

I just finished watching Carnivale season 2. Leaves enough open for season 3, but there aren't really plans for another season now, are there?

Eyes Of A Stranger - Looked old and very simple but was ok. Good acting and nice gory effects.

Urghhh... I'll have to take a look at that Manos movie. The worst movie I have seen so far is Shapeshifter (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0473393/).
