Was thinking about starting another best & worst of the year topic the other day , of 2005 mind you :wacky:

2005 isn't over yet geezus.

however there are some pretty lousy choices there for 2004 if you ask me. i mean RE: Apocalypse for best Cinematography? Wow, that's erm, a very special choice :lol: And what's up with those sound track choices. Its funny, Blade Trinity was f*cking terrible, and yet appears in nearly every category :wink: :lol: I mean Wesley Snipes for best actor... that's just stupid. I mean Christian Bale in Machinist put on a slightly better performance for that. :googley:

If you go by general release dates like the oscars do (i think), bubba ho-tep got its cinema release in 2004, which means Bruce Campbell wins best actor and JFK gets best supporting actor (what do you mean he isn't really JFK? :lol:).

Can't figure out how movies like van smelsing and blade travesty get so many votes, except i suspect those are the only movies people could remember. They were infact some of the worst of 2004 :mrgreen:

Heh, I wasn't kidding. Some kind of 'Best of... Retrospect' by year. I thought that there HAD to be better choices for 2004... not really. You would need very specific categories to get any worthwhile results. I already have some picks for 2005, at least a notch higher than anything in 2004, save for ShaunOTD. '81 was a great year, as was '72. The Best of the BEst Years.... LOL. We could have Best Horror, Best Giallo, Best rape Scene.... well maybe scratch the latter. In 2004, we have 'Best film that kept interest more than 20% through' and 'Lamest CGI FX', also 'Biggest Hype, Biggest Letdown'. :twisted:
