lol, yeah but those are cheap shit knockoff merchandise, i'm surprised they don't call Link Zelda

Toy makers make a mess of everything, i got some star wars figures where the characters all have the wrong coloured hair and all sorts of weird and wonderful excentrisities.
I guess the link is left handed really is more over the top fanboy knowledge than i was expecting, i did a quick google for each title and looked at some fan sites and i'm surprised how little people have noticed he's supposed to be left handed, like in fan art, there's some good pictures but they draw him right handed. The official stuff is always left handed sword play.
Looks like I'm going to have to pull out the big guns on the whole left handed thing, official art work and games are pretty unanimous, he's left handed... take a look see:
LOZ (hard to tell cos of the crappy graphics but you can make out that they simply flipped left and right, but looking down its as clear as day):

* sheild in right hand

*Sword in left hand
This is where we start to see but loads of link pictures...
LOZ2:
Official artwork is clear, but the game allows him to use both hands cos they just flipped the sprite.
LOZ3:
LOZ4:
LOZ5:
LOZ6:
LOZ7:
The only time he's right handed is when its 3rd party merchandise or in the nes games because they cheated and flipped the sprites (although he's left handed in animations and cut scenes)
There's the easy trick which is often used in film making for this kind of thing. You flip the frame, as long as you don't have any writing on picture, there shouldn't be a problem, as long as you flip all frames
