Had a good laugh at this one when i saw it...

Quote:
Watch The Legend of Zelda: Hero of Time and dazzle at the thrilling spectacle of "a boy from a mysterious forest" in "a legend as infinite as time." There's an evil threatening him and a princess summoning him, so there's only one thing to do: put the tights on, grab the Master Sword, and mess up some Moblins.

Alright, it's a fan film but I'd honestly pay more to see this than oh, I don't know... anything by Uwe Boll. They're saying that principal photography is in the can, with post-production work on animations and CGI left to complete. The Zelda fanboys in the house can read more about the production here.

Sorry i couldn't resist posting it

There's better info here:

Althought the trailer links are dead, much to my dismay

So was this actually made and released? (Haven't read into it too much).

The trailer is on the first link and also on youtube - looks dodgy

Heh, didn't that depend on which side the sprite was facing at first?

btw maybe it would be better not to give Mr. Bollocks any new ideas

He really is left handed btw, even way back in old school LoZ, through LttP and OoT+. I guess every game developer involved will know all the geek stuff off by heart given the prominance of the franchise.

@Video-Man, I think that's half the point... most fan flicks are retarded

lol, yeah but those are cheap shit knockoff merchandise, i'm surprised they don't call Link Zelda  Toy makers make a mess of everything, i got some star wars figures where the characters all have the wrong coloured hair and all sorts of weird and wonderful excentrisities. :)

I guess the link is left handed really is more over the top fanboy knowledge than i was expecting, i did a quick google for each title and looked at some fan sites and i'm surprised how little people have noticed he's supposed to be left handed, like in fan art, there's some good pictures but they draw him right handed. The official stuff is always left handed sword play.

Looks like I'm going to have to pull out the big guns on the whole left handed thing, official art work and games are pretty unanimous, he's left handed... take a look see:

LOZ (hard to tell cos of the crappy graphics but you can make out that they simply flipped left and right, but looking down its as clear as day):
Image * sheild in right hand
Image *Sword in left hand

This is where we start to see but loads of link pictures...
LOZ2:

Official artwork is clear, but the game allows him to use both hands cos they just flipped the sprite.

LOZ7:

The only time he's right handed is when its 3rd party merchandise or in the nes games because they cheated and flipped the sprites (although he's left handed in animations and cut scenes)

There's the easy trick which is often used in film making for this kind of thing. You flip the frame, as long as you don't have any writing on picture, there shouldn't be a problem, as long as you flip all frames
