I've posted enough threads on this subject so this time I've named the thread so it can easily be added to.

Flesh For Frankenstein is the latest to be passed uncut.

OK, not an official nasty due to the fact that it has never been released before in the UK, but another good example of how times change, the BBFC have recently passed Last House on Dead End Street uncut :D

any idea how it compares to the spliced Barrel entertainment version?
I believe they included additional gore scenes missing from other prints...

or maybe my memory is shit...

How much is missing from the Barrel version?

Sorry,
they actually spliced in scenes which only existed in one print, thus making it the most complete version possible of LHODES...
So i believe, it is totally uncut - just wondering whether itd be sourced from the same print, as there was some major disembowelments...

I should have specified, as uncut as it's gonna be. The Barrel Entertainment DVD has the disembowelling scene spliced in from VHS, the full uncut version is lost forever.

That's why I was asking about it. I thought it was the most complete version. The additional footage is damn near seamless as the whole flick just has that great dark and dirty look to it to begin with.

I believe Night of the Bloody Apes has recently been passed uncut, no news on the BBFC site though.

I forgot to mention Night of the Demon; this has been shown uncut on Zone Horror, albeit an abysmal quality print, so I guess this has been approved by the BBFC. Unfortunately the rights are owned by Vipco so I'm not expecting to see a HQ DVD of this one any time soon :(

I forgot to update this recently. Contamination was passed 15 a while back, and Don't Ride On Late Night Trains was passed ages back, but the real shock is........

Bloody Moon has been passed uncut by the BBFC. I thought this one would never get through because of the animal cruelty (a snake being chopped in half and the camera focusing on the squirming head). Very nasty, but the film is cack.

Play have an uncut UK DVD of Devil Hunter in stock, but there's no sign of it on the BBFC website yet.

The BBFC use the title on the submitted print, not the title the distributors put on the cover.
