NO is right. It's a remake of Kairo, an excellent Japanese movie. It's PG-13 and was cut down from an R rating by removing blood and gore, has a first-time music video director, and stars hip young people from teeny-bopper TV shows. What do you think looks good about it?

I thought Kairo was japanese, I hate the plasticwrapped tv teen angst genre.
Kairo was the 2nd japanese horror movie I had ever seen. err, 3rd.
(Mantango the mushroom people was the first.) If it wasn't for Kairo, I probably wouldnt have gone on a japanese horror binge.

I kind of hoped that there was a korean version of keiro that i had missed. That would have been neat-o, cause it make's me feel smart when I unknowingly watch a re-make/original after seeing a version previously.
Except for the teen angst remake of asian films, that just makes me feel kind of sad.
